VVDI2 add key to BMW 2011 528i problem solved!

I recently added a key to a BMW 2011 528i using VVDI2 system. I have used it successfully multiple times before. During this particular instance, the software prompted me to downgrade the cast, which I may have done. The key adding process went smoothly; however, I unintentionally deactivated the central button locking function and the trunk opening button. When I accelerated on the freeway, the car did not perform as it used to. It seems that I might have made a mistake with the ECU, leading to improper oxygen release to the engine. I’m unsure if this is the actual cause, but I’m considering the possibilities of what could have gone wrong. Any assistance or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Here some tips for your reference:

  1. You added the key via OBD (never do that again).
  2. Update CASback with Xhorse vvdi2 and all will works.
  3. Click on replace CAS button in the key learning section of the VVDI2 CAS4, you will see that another menu will pop up. There they offer a lot of fixes concerning the issues you mentioned.
  4. Look underneath it, says coding was lost. You need to restore coding, find any machine or anything that can do BMWcoding and code CAS.
