2.Use Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus to add a key for 2005 bmw e90 320d

Steps:

1. Plug the connector into the OBD2 port.
2. Select IMMO programming > Europe > BMW > automatically diagnose models > Initiate programming.
3. The system will be identified as CAS2 type. Access the system’s operational interface.
4. Read the key information and press “Yes”.
5. Place the car key into the ignition switch and ensure a good connection between the vehicle and the device. Press “Yes” again.
6. Remove the dealer key from the ignition switch. If the key is keyless, take it out of the car. If there is no key in the ignition, skip this step. Press “OK”.
7. Save the data file.

 

 

After making the key and locking it, test it on the car.

1. If the engine does not start with the key, use the “Add Key” function to add the dealer key to the CAS system.
2. If the key can start the engine, but the keyless function does not work, use the “Repair Keyless Key” function.
3. The new key should be able to start the engine without any issues.
