How to Fix Remote Decoding Failure with VVDI2 and Key Tool Max

Issue: When trying to decode remote with VVDI2 and Key Tool Max, both devices failed and showed error messages.

VVDI2 software said ‘Decode failed! Please retry after updating device! Error: 90- 9B. China remote can not use GL database!’ (see figure 1).

VVDI Key Tool Max said ‘The remote connection is only for China market, please buy from our dealer in your country.
