Xhorse VVDI Mini Key Tool Renew BMW F series 868mhz Key

Xhorse vvdi mini key tool was able to update a BMW F Series 868MHz Continental successfully by utilizing the Xhorse Remote Renew Soldering Cable.

Here’s how it is done:

  1. Transponder Reading

The transponder was placed in the Mini Key Tool‘s coil position. By selecting “Transponder Clone” on the tool, the transponder information was detected. The transponder was identified as a BMW F series 868 MHz CAS4+ (EWS5) PCF7945P, and its status was already locked.

  1. Remote Renewal

The BMW transponder was dismantled, and VVDI Mini Key Tool was connected to the BMW chip using the professional remote renew soldering cable, following the connection diagram in the Xhorse APP.

In the “Special Function” menu, the options were selected as follows: Remote Renew-BMW-5WK49661 F Series 868MHz Continental-Unlock-The renewal (unlock) process was successful.

  1. Transponder Check

Returning to the main menu, the “Transponder Clone” option was selected to read the transponder again. The updated status of the transponder was now unlocked.
